Abstract
Osiguranje od odgovornosti predstavlja tip neživotnog osiguranja kojim se pruža zaštita i osiguraniku i oštećeniku (trećoj osobi). Osiguraniku u vidu isplate osigurnine za namiru štete, a kod treće osobe brzo uklanjanje neželjenih posljedica. Osiguranje od odgovornosti možemo podijeliti na dobrovoljna i obvezna te prema HANFI na: osiguranje od upotrebe motornih vozila, od upotrebe zračnih letjelica, od upotrebe plovila te ostala osiguranja od odgovornosti. Početke razvoja osiguranja od odgovornosti promatramo kroz industrijske revolucije gdje se pojavom novih tehnoloških inovacija život stanovništva izrazito mijenja. Pojavom novog i ubrzanog stila života pojavile su se nove potrebe za ugovaranjem osiguranja od odgovornosti.
Abstract (english)
Liability insurance is a type of non-life insurance that provides protection to policyholder and to third party. Insured in the form of payment of insurance for the settlement of damages, and in the case of a third party, fast elimination of unwanted consequences. Liability insurance can be divided into voluntary and obligatory types. Also according to HANFA liability insurance can be divided to: liability insurance for using motor vehicles, using aircraft, using vessels and other liability insurances. We observe the beginnings of the development of liability insurance through industrial revolutions where the emergence of new technological innovations changes the way of life. With the emergence of a new and accelerated lifestyle, new needs have emerged for contracting liability insurance.
