Management as a profession encompases forms and methods of running a business engaged in economic acitivities. Every company consists of different components that need to be organized, led and controlled by skilled individuals. In all areas of the economy, management is crucial starting with the earliest stages of establishing a company, and throughout all phases of a company's lifecycles. The specificity of individual sectors of the economy is reflected in the products and services offered by that sector. These products and services in turn give rise to specificities in managing companies within particular sector. Creative industries consist of companies that create products and services in a new way or as an upgrade to something that already exists. The music industry, as part of this quaternary or cultural sector and tertiary or content -related/trade sales sector, has progressed more than it ever has in the last five decades. Alongside the fundamental management of someone's music carreer (including intellectual property rights, negotiaton of performances, and phsyical sound carrier distribution), new forms of business distribution and marketing for the promotion and sale of music content have emerged. Therefore, it is important to highlight and study the methods of managing companies in the music industry.
