Entrepreneurship is the "engine" that drives the economy, while entrepreneurship education simultaneously helps to encourage entrepreneurial thinking in society, as well as the creation of new subjects and the more effective use of innovative abilities, established expertise and skills. The ubiquity of digital technology in human life is a characteristic of modern society. We live in a technologically advanced age. In order to reach customers and provide excellent service, every business, no matter how big or small, needs a digital presence. The massive growth of digital entrepreneurship is made possible by the availability of a multitude of digital tools and services. Due to the huge amount of information that spreads through different channels, new startups are created all over the world. The digital entrepreneurship movement has taken off, resulting in a huge increase in the number of professional entrepreneurs with strong technical skills . The world of technology is rapidly and constantly changing, which gives young entrepreneurs an advantage in easier monitoring of trends. The reason for this is that there are tons of low-cost, high-performance resources available to help budding digital entrepreneurs. The aim of the final paper is to present the importance of digital entrepreneurship in the modern business by applying the knowledge acquired during the three-year undergraduate professional study of Management for Trade and Entrepreneurship at the University of Split and through relevant literature sources.
