The topic of this task is based on the study and testing of the operation of a DC motor, which was preceded by the creation of a model and the installation of all elements of the system. The operation is designed in such a way as to determine the speed of the motor via an optical encoder or in some other way. Since the engine also contains an associated tachogenerator, it will be taken to determine the speed of the shaft. The load was done via a pulley, all connected to a dynamo that is often found on bicycles to obtain a certain voltage. In addition, it is necessary to determine the associated currents and voltage drops on the motor. All this data, whether digital (from the encoder) or analog (from the tachogenerator), will be directed to an installed micro controller called USB 6009 OEM, which is also part of the National Instruments Group. Eventually the data is transferred to the LabVIEW program which will be used to simulate and visualize the obtained data.
