The company is a dynamic system that continuously adapts to environmental conditions and changes, grows and develops in accordance with them. Adaptation to the newly created conditions requires continuity of monitoring the conditions of the external environment and predicting future activities. Natural disasters such as the Covid-19 pandemic are impossible to predict and thus prepare business activities for the new conditions. The Covid-19 pandemic is not exclusively a health problem but also a global economic problem that is visible through the cessation of a number of economic activities. In line with the pandemic business framework, companies must necessarily find and select adequate tools to manage and adapt their business to the emerging pandemic conditions. Pandemic business conditions marked by the global recession pose a challenge to companies in managing costs, which are an indispensable item of business activities. Costs as an indispensable item of business activities are impossible to avoid, so it is necessary to find an adequate way to manage them. Cost management must not be guided by a reduction of the same, but the focus of cost management must be on achieving the goal with the lowest possible costs or achieving maximum benefit from the costs incurred. Cost management requires knowledge and understanding of the existing way of doing business as well as the new conditions in accordance with which it is necessary to find an adequate cost management method by which the company will adapt to the new business conditions and ensure smooth and successful business activities.
