This final paper describes the process of putting an existing CNC engraver into operation. The introductory part explains the construction of CNC engraver (standard components are listed and their function is described) and used control applications for CNC engraver in a given environment are listed and described. In the practical part, the design of the worktable, setting of working parameters and calibration of the existing CNC engraver was performed, and test engraving was also performed. The worktable is designed to meet the stiffness condition under the action of an axial force (shear drilling force) the amount of which is determined by calculation. Setting of work parameters (including the creation of program codes for tool positioning) was done in the selected control application and the whole procedure is described in detail. Finally, the process of making a G-code for making a single-sided printed circuit board in the selected programs is briefly described, according to which test engraving and production of a test printed circuit board was performed.
