This paper is called Life insurance. This paper defines the term of life insurance, and analyses the division and types of life insurance. Life insurance represents ones insurance against the risk of death, the risk of experiencing and some other additional risks. In a case of death of the insured, the insurance company pays the insured a certain amount of insurance money stated by the policyholder on the insurance policy. The policyholder, apropos the insured pays the insurance company the cost of insurance, i.e. the insurance premium stated on the policy itself. In the Republic of Croatia on the market of insurance three insurance companies preform exclusively life insurance businesses and eight insurance companies deal with non-life and life insurance. The example covered by this paper is the insurance company AGRAM LIFE d.d. The paper shows their products of life insurance as well as an example of a life insurance policy.
