Abstract
Ovaj rad se bavi izradom jednostavnog operativnog sustava koji se sastoji od tri dijela: bootloadera, jezgre operativnog sustava (engl. kernel) i ljuske (engl. shell). Sva tri dijela se prvo opisuju kroz teoriju, a zatim u posebnoj cjelini rada i praktični dio. U praktičnom dijelu rada je prikazano kako je napravljen jednostavni operativni sustav koji je nazvan Orek tj. prikazan je postupak izrade bootloadera, jezgre i ljuske za operativni sustav Orek. Ovaj rad može poslužiti kao uvod u izradu složenijeg operativnog sustava jer se u njemu objašnjava proces izrade operativnog sustava od podizanja bootloadera do ljuske u kojoj korisnik komunicira sa računalom i uz pomoć jezgre operativnog sustava obavlja određene operacije.
Abstract (english)
This paper deals with the creation of a simple operating system consisting of three parts: bootloader, core of the operating or kernel and shell. Those three parts are first described in theory, and then in the special part of a paper their usage. This paper can easily show how to create a simple operating system called Orek, i.e. the process of creating a bootloader, core and shell for the operating system Orek. This work can serve as an introduction to the more complex operating system development because it explains the process of making the operating system from bootloader up to shell where the user communicates with the computer and, with the help of the core of the operating system, perform certain operations.
